Great place to shop

I had an excellent experience here this was my 1st time purchasing a gun and they were very helpful will be doing more business with them in future

I had a bad experience with another gun-shop prior to coming to here. (Biglinny firearms in Belvidere, IL is the bad gun shop... please avoid them like the plague!) so I decided to give local gun shop 'KAP Guns' a try. I went there intending on purchasing my first handgun, for self-defense/conceal carry. I was impressed with their stock and selection of handguns/pistols. They don't have many revolvers or other gun types. I saw a few rifles, AR-15's, couple shotguns on the wall, etc.. But for pistols, they have it all. The people there were perfectly nice and friendly, willing to answer questions. They didn't try and sell me an overpriced or over the top gun, but rather accommodated my need for a high quality, lower-priced/high value practical/concealable sidearm. Just like anything that is sold online versus sold at a brick and mortar retail store, things are a little more expensive at a retail location. There are pros and cons to buying online vs buying in person at a gun shop. If you're like me, then you'll feel good about supporting a small/locally owned business that is pro-gun.

Talked with one of their staff members over the phone. I wanted to know about their prices. Staff member was rude, pushy and seemed very indifferent about helping me. Won't even do business if that's how they are going to treat people over the phone.
