Purchased a Smith and Wesson model 48 revolver from Bromley's gun shop. I was expecting a nice 95% shooter grade gun, and instead have a 99% absolutely beautiful 'safe queen'. Now my quandry is do I shoot it or not? Mike is the best, will surely do business with hi m in the future. I'm probably going to shoot it!

THE ASM/EMF COMPANY'S COPY OF THE BISLEY COLT HAS THE SAME REPUTATION THAT CHINESE COPIES OF EXPENSIVE CUSTOM MADE AMERICAN KNIVES HAVE THAT USE THE SOFTEST, CHEAPEST STEEL MADE FOR THE BLADE. DO YOUR RESEARCH ON LINE, NOT OF THIS GUN SHOP, BUT OF THE ASM/EMF COMPANY (OVERSEAS MADE). I DID, AND IT WAS 100 PERCENT RUN THE OTHER BECAUSE IT IS JUNK. THIS GUN SHOP SELLS SOME GOOD STUFF TOO, BUT THEY ARE NOT PERFECT.

I bought an older Winchester 22 Bolt action rifle from Bromley's on Guns America. Called the owner, Mike Bromley, on the phone and specifically asked about the bore. He said it was fine. I got the rifle and there was NO rifling in the barrel meaning it had been cleaned so much the rifling was gone. Seller offered a return that would have cost me 75.00. I was able to find a good barrel and have it changed out by a gunsmith to the tune of 200.00 more dollars.
