I just left Royal Range just outside of Nashville Tennessee I had stopped with my brother to do some shooting on the range I asked for the lead sled to be provided so that I could have more stability shooting it took about 10 minutes or more to get that brought to me on the range 50 minutes later the range master says you have five minutes left I asked does that count the 15 minutes that it took to get the lead sled so he didn't like me asking so he went to the other Range officers and had good laugh together and talked about me as a customer about what I had said when I turned to address the fact that I had been disrespected and made fun his partner Asked me to leave and told me to exit the range that I was to leave me to leave then he replies do I smell liquor on your breath (Like a DUI stop) I am a lupus patient and take strong medicines several of which are incredibly sensitive to what you could have I am not allowed to have any alcoholic beverage of any kind with the medicines I take and I told him so again he said well I just smelled what I believe to be liquor on your breath which was a complete lie if you choose to go find a place to shoot I would avoid this place at all cost they are disrespectful they treat you like you're having a traffic stop if they get questioned and to be right honest with you they treated me worse today than I've been treated in years in any public establishment their customer service is the worst I've seen so if you wanna be demeaned by alpha male guys that want to be cool and insult customers this is where you need to shoot this would be the perfect place to come otherwise find a place with good customer service where you're treated respectfully shooter beware

Had to shoot handguns in the rifle range. Very loud! Is there not a pistol range?

DO NOT GO TO ROYAL RANGE. Today I went to Royal Range and decided to buy 1 box of practice ammo in .40 caliber. Just one box. Mind you I was not buying a hand gun or a rifle. I was asked for my phone number and I gave it to the cashier. He could not find me in the system. Then he asked me if I had bought something from them before and I said yes. He proceeded to ask me for my driver's license. I was offended and asked him why was he asking for my DL. He said he had to verify my age before selling some ammo to me. I told him not to worry about it and walked out. I had bought ammo from every gun store in Nashville & surrounding areas and have never been asked for my DL. I then got home and called and spoke to one of the managers. He told me that buy law they cannot sell ammo to anyone under 21. I am 47 yrs. old and the person who asked me for the DL could see that. I felt discriminated against. Today will be the last time I will ever go to Royal Range. I will drive all the way to Franklin to the Franklin Gun Shop. Good folks there.
