I bought two brand new AR15 pistols chambered in 5.56/.223 from a local gun store in Tyler,Tx. After taking them to the range I realized that these firearms were going to need a lot work to make them reliable and function like they should. They were having cycling problems, jamming and feeding issues. It didn't matter what ammo or how much oil I used, they did not function like a brand new firearm should. I took them to Texas Gun Works and talked with Jason. He tested and verified every issue that I had with them. After inspecting the pistols he found several issues. One gas block was the wrong size and was pinned in wrong. He installed and tuned adjustable gas blocks on both fixing the cycling problem. He polished the feed ramps and cleaned up the sharp edges and burrs left by the machining process causing the brass cases to be damaged. These things work like a dream compared to when I first got them. I can't say enough good things about Texas Gun Works in Streetman,Tx. Jason knows what he is doing and he is good at what he does. I would recommend him to anyone needing work done on a firearm and I will definitely be using him in the future if needed.

I have dealt with this man shop personally and highly recommend it. Super knowledgeable and willing to discuss the hows and whys. I trust them enough that its worth the drive. I won't go anywhere else.

Definitely would recommend. He taught me a lot on how to work my firearm, great teacher and most of all a fun and great experience.
