Old Town Firearms

My wife and I have wanted to own a couple of handguns for several years, we just never took the time to got to a store and talk with anyone about it. During the COVID-19 outbreak, we discussed it again and decided now was the time. So on 09 May 2020 I went to Old Town Firearms and met with the owner, John (my wife and I hjad gone to another firearm store in Fredericksburg several weeks prior to this). Once in the small store, I told John what I was interested in and how little experience my wife and I had around handguns. I told him we were inteested in learning and taking the class he offers. He should me several firearms and it was a very pleasant experience. I ended up purchasing what he recommended at very reasonable prices. I plan to to back antoher day and purchase additonal firearms and take the handgun class in the near term.Positives: Nice guy Didn't try and pressure a sale Good prices on firearms and ammunition Very helpful Customer seviceNegatives: Small store (not sure why it's a negative - I guess because he keeps a small amount of stock on hand)Admittedly, I'm a novice, however, I also very well educated and studdied extensively before I decided to purchase a firearm. So while you advanced owners may not appreciate this little shop (although i can't see why you wouldn't), I am very impressed with John and what he brings to downtown Fredericksburg.

I have bought three of the cowboys guns I use from here. All the new ones arrived early. Plus good prices. Both were Cimmeron,very nice.Getting ready for a back up in case I need one in a bigger match. I'll be checking here at my local business before venturing out.
