Proven Arms & Outfitters

Permanently closed! I have been reporting it for months, but Google has been slow to act. It's 'under review'. Proven is gone from this location. Also posting picture of location now with signage gone and lease advertising.

I am a long-time customer of Quantico Tactical (now known as Proven Arms and Outfitters). Their Military and LEO prices are a great savings if you qualify. They are a Sig Superstore and they have Military / LEO special discounts on Sig, Beretta, FN, Springfield, and S&W. Im generally a Sig guy so this the best place in the area to shop for Sig Sauer firearms, ammo, and accessories. I have found great deals on other brands and items in the store and on their web-site. Their transfer fees, if you need an in-bound FFL transfer, is another attraction. Be advised, if you buy something when receiving a transfer you get a discount on the transfer fee. I didnt know and missed out on that one on a couple of transfers. They carry just about every MAGPUL product in the store. They stock some common Sig parts. Their selection of pistols and rifles is excellent. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This is a great place to browse while your significant other is shopping at Potomac Mills.Ill echo the previous reviewers comments. Johann is my go-to guy when he available. The other folks are great too.

Writing this review to acknowledge Ryan for his help and going above-and-beyond in customer service ... Ryan was a big help who advised me to purchase the right firearms.. So, I just wanted to say thank you very much!!

Prejudice. Indecision based on who I am isn't justification for not allowing me to purchase. The right to bear arms is my right just like theirs. Edit: I dont even know anyone in Pennsylvania. They are also liars. I barely talked to anyone because I was browsing. I own other firearms. Weird how the way I looked gave you the impression I wasnt a gun owner who knows the law.

Don't waste your time with this place, took over 20 minutes to get help. Once I started browsing and asking questions about what they carried the guy helping me acted like he wasn't interested or wasn't happy to be there, gave me short answers, didn't make eye contact and over all just stood behind the counter not doing much. Once I found something I did like and was interested in and started the proper paper work I was refused service due to my immigration status (which isn't the law but a store policy not noted anywhere in the store or website), everyone looked at me like I committed a crime and when I asked if they could point me to a store that does, they either refused to or didn't know of any (which is just strange you're in the business) I got a chance to look at other reviews and it looks like I'm not the only POC this place has discriminated against for one reason or the other, my experience here was disheartening as a first time buyer, really wish I took my business elsewhere in the first place to avoid the whole situation.
