I've known the owner most of my life, a close friend of my dad's, and our family in general. Hunting was, one of the families too activities, that included extended family, big game, upland game birds , and occasionally migratory waterfowl. His gunsmithing skills, and refinishing and talents are unsurpassed. An artist. I have a few examples of his work in my now tiny collection, and a lifetime to listen in to the conversations, and later ask my own questions that increased my education greatly when time permitted. My work is time consuming, but pays half decently, and being self-employed a more satisfying means to make a living.I've been given no 'special treatment', as a customer, my association is the same as all customers, as Brian is an honorable man, and I happily pay whatever he says for this level of quality work. It's my belief, he should've pursued his business at a full time level. Demand for his work has always exceeded the supply. Maybe I was fortunate to have my guns work completed quickly, despite my assertion he was free to do the work at his convenience.
