I have been considering purchasing a gun, for almost two years now. Until today, I have never even held one. It felt dumb walking in, without any knowledge - but the staff was AMAZING! The guy with dark hair helped explain the basics, made very educated suggestions, and was so freaking friendly! I worked with a sig 365, and even though it wasn't what I was originally looking at, I loved it! I liked it better than the one I was originally going in for! Which is why it was so great that the associate listened to what I was thinking and gave his honest opinion and great advise! I didn't feel 100% comfortable with holding and shooting for the first part (probably because I've never done it) but I will definitely be going back and gaining more confidence! I can honestly say this place is top quality - especially if you're a beginner!

This is the place to shoot if you are in the Athens area. Justen, the General Manager is the best. The whole staff is well trained, friendly, and professional. They can answer any gun question or help you with any problems you may have. They have a full line of shooting supplies and every type of gun that you may be interested in. If not in stock, they can special order any gun (or part) for you.

I just stopped in to pick up a few things and the guys were extremely friendly and helpful. I'm not your typical gun-culture person, which results in hesitation and anxiety in gun stores, but after chatting with David for a bit I felt completely welcome. I definitely recommend Athens Gun Club.
