I like the owner of this place. I had an issue with an employee. As soon as the owner learned of it she was more than generous in offering to solve the issue however she could. Thats what we need more of in the US today. People who care about the customer like these owners obviously do. AAA+

I have been here countless times at the range and around the store. Today I shot about 8 different guns to help make a decision, then i talked to the owner and described what I like then showed me this beauty and I couldn't resist. Taurus .38 special limited edition. The price was pretty darn good too!! I will never stop shooting and shopping here. Great staff and clean, well ventilated and maintained range. Also, the range has about 50 guns you can rent to shoot and have fun with. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

My wife and i are moving to the blue ridge area and we were driving into town and stopped at Appalachian gun shop.All i can say is we were blown away with the selection and most of all the service.We were greeted as soon as we entered by the owners.Awesome people!Every employee was awesome very friendly and answered all our questions.We ended up buying a shotgun and a holster vest for my wife.The selection is fantastic and the prices are great!We cant wait to move to the area and for sure we will be regulars at the shop and will be taking advantage of all the great classes they offof the art range!er and use their state
