I brought a modded-up SKS that wasn't working before I intended to buy it outright, and he let me know that the degree to which the modifications had been mismatched and the gun had been allowed to fall into disrepair really made the whole hassle not worth the buy. You know a true professional by his ability to tell you that you don't need him. I only wish I had a broken gun worth his time.
