Olde Leaksville Gun Shop

Interesting store. Some nice older and new guns and a good variety. Owner is very pleasant when he's in a good mood and a terrible business owner when he's not. I drove 45 minutes there as soon as I could get off work to purchase a new gun arriving at 4:30. Only to be informed that he didn't want to process my paper work that close to 5:00 (closing time) and that I would have to come back. ??? If you essentially stop your sales at 4:30 shouldn't you list that as your actual hours? So, that little trip wasted 2hours for me plus I had to get off work early that day.I did come back later (having to take off even earlier from work) but only because he had in stock the gun I wanted. I processed paperwork and picked up my gun but I can't say that left a good taste in my mouth as far as customer service. I'll probably never go back. Just too may other stores out there that actually want sales the entire time they're open.

Fine guys, but no excuse to make me wait 1hour after opening to sign my FFL for online purchase. It took five minutes. sorry guys this is my last visit.

The gentleman that owns the shop is knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. It is a small shop but sometimes has things that larger shops do not have. My personal experience was great and I will definitely shop there again. It is local and the owner is friendly which unfortunately is uncommon in this area's gun shops.
