Delmont Sport Shop used to be my go-to FFL for transfers when they had $25 transfers. Fairly recently they raised their price to $35 and the drive simply isn't worth it anymore. Staff attitude is hit-or-miss. The female staff member is very friendly, the male staff member tends to be either annoyed or confused half the time. Prices are rather high but it is a mom and pop shop so it's understandable. The shop is pretty big for a mom and pop shop and they have a fairly good selection.

So... I wanted some 44mag shells and xtp reloading bullets recently. The shop I usually go to didn't have what I needed, didn't want to wait for online and being impatient, I called Delmont and they said they had it. I knew going innit was new brass(100 hornady) and 100 XTPs. Forthnately I have been blessed to not sweat small price differences but wow! I walked in told her what I had called about, she grabbed it and rang it up, $120 for a hundred shells and bullets! Ok, you got me. Enjoy the money because I will NEVER darken your doorway again! The same stuff online AND at the local shop is MAYBE $60 with tax so I expected a couple extra bucks not more than 100% OVER msrp! You people are just like 'cheaper than dirt'(emphasis on dirt) and and a reputation for gouging and lowlifembusiness practices is harder to get rid of than herpes.

Very rude couple, did not give me anything but attitude when faced with a problem, wasted an hour of our time for no reason and turned my business away. Terrible shop, will never go back.

If your in need of supplies they will normally have them.... however they are awfully expensive. Guns are priced high but that's not a suprise being that it's hard to compete with the internet. Main complaint is when I called for a price on some reloading supplies. Owner said I think it's about 28 dollars. So I asked for some other odds and ends and he said about the same thing. So when I get there all the prices he listed weren't even close. The 28 dollars was actually 34. And everything else was off in the same fashion. So once again if your in a jam they will probly have what your looking for but you will pay for it. This is a cash only place just a heads up for anyone visiting.
